The Forrest County Agricultural High School shall receive separate sealed bids for the FCAHS Administrative Building no later than 10:00 A.M., Local Time, June 25, 2025, at the District Office located at 215 Old Highway 49 E, Brooklyn, MS 39425. All bids so received will be publicly opened and read aloud.

Work shall consist essentially of site work and construction of a new administrative office building for the school district.

Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential sub-contracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs.

2. Tice Engineering, Inc., 510 South Vardaman Street, Wiggins, Mississippi, 39577

All documents required for bidding purposes may be obtained from www.ticeengplans.com upon payment of $50.00 non-refundable fee for each set.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a Cashier’s Check or Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder’s Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed to operate in the State of Mississippi, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price, payable to the Forrest County Agricultural High School as bid security. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount.

The proposal and contract documents in its entirety shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and deposited with the Forrest County Agricultural High School, Administrative Office,215 Old Highway 49 E, Brooklyn, MS 39425, prior to the hour and date above designated. The Forrest County Agricultural High School has the right to reject any and all bids received.
