Notice is hereby given that the Forrest County Board of Supervisors will receive unpriced proposals to prequalify vendors for a Sound System at 2:00 p.m. December 15, 2025. Specifications may be obtained by visiting the website www.forrestcountymsbids.com. Unpriced Proposals may be submitted at www.forrestcountymsbids.com. For any questions relating to the electronic submittal or reverse auction process, please call PH Bidding Group at 662-407-0195.

All proposals may be submitted electronically at www.forrestcountymsbids.com no later than 2:00 PM on December 11, 2025, before the acceptance time listed above. All sealed unpriced proposals must be on file with the Purchasing Director, Rochelle Campbell, 641 N Main Street, Hattiesburg, MS 39401, prior to or by the acceptance date and time as stated above. All unpriced proposals must be clearly marked on the outside of the envelope with:

Sound System Upgrades

Submissions will be evaluated, and vendors submitting proposals will be invited to participate in the Electronic Reverse Auction. The Forrest County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to extend the auction date if necessary to complete the pre-qualification process. Bidding will be held by Electronic Reverse Auction on December 19, 2025, beginning at 10:00 A.M. Unpriced Responses must be submitted electronically at www.forrestcountymsbids.com and pricing will only be accepted through the online reverse auction process by vendors that are prequalified through the unpriced responses.

It shall be incumbent upon each bidder to understand the specifications as listed herein and to obtain clarification when necessary. It is not the intent of the specifications to limit the bidding to any make or manufacture of equipment or items of commodity, but rather to select such equipment and or commodities to fill a specific need and perform a specific task. Any reference to name brand equipment or commodities is intended to establish standards only and bids submitted on equipment and commodities equal thereto shall be received and considered.

Each Vendor/Contractor shall be required to ensure delivery and receipt of its sealed and or/electronic bid by the agency prior to the new date and time of the bid opening. Late or incomplete proposals will not be considered. Modifications will not be considered after the closing date and time.

The Board of Supervisors expressly reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals or any part of any or all bids and waive any informalities.
